How To Activate Your New Mastercard Debit Card

  1. On or after Nov. 10, 2021, activate your new Mastercard debit card by calling (800) 631-3197 and set your new PIN. Once the Mastercard debit card is activated, your old VISA debit card will no longer work.
  2. Sign the back of your new Mastercard debit card.
  3. Switch over any automatic payments from your old VISA debit card to your Mastercard debit card once it is activated. If you have trouble remembering where you have automatic payments set up, our team can help.
  4. Destroy your old VISA debit card after activating the Mastercard debit card.

You must activate your Mastercard debit card before Nov. 30, 2021, when your old VISA debit card will automatically deactivate and no longer work.

To qualify for a chance to win a $500 gift card, activate your Mastercard debit card before Nov. 23, 2021 (see below).

 

Key Facts about the Conversion

  1. You will receive a new Mastercard debit card to replace your Visa debit card and ATM card.
  2. The new Mastercard debit card will have a new number and will require you to create a PIN.
  3. Your new Mastercard debit card will arrive in the mail in late October.
  4. Your new Mastercard debit card can’t be activated until Nov. 10, 2021.
  5. Once the Mastercard debit card is activated, your old VISA debit card will no longer work.
  6. To participate in our incentive drawing, activate your card by Nov. 23, 2021 (see below).
  7. Your Visa debit card will automatically deactivate on Nov. 30, 2021.

If you activate your new Mastercard debit card between Nov. 10, 2021 and Nov. 23, 2021, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a $500 gift card.

Contest rules:

  • Members are given one (1) chance to win for each card activated.
  • The incentive does not apply to checking accounts opened after Nov. 10, 2021.
  • Only one (1) prize is awarded per winner.
  • Each prize is a $500 gift card with ten (10) total prizes available.
