The Tuscaloosa Chapter of Credit Union (TCCU) Scholarship is awarded to an active credit union member whose credit union is affiliated with the TCCU. The scholarship may be used for full-time students to cover tuition, materials including online programs at an accredited higher educational school or program. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational institution.
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Proof of credit union membership
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Complete all application requirements and essay
- Meet all application deadlines
To ensure your application is considered, the completed application and supporting materials including a resume must be received as a package to Tuscaloosa Chapter of Credit Unions by the application deadline. Incomplete or late application packages will not be considered.
Applications will be reviewed, scored and ranked by the Tuscaloosa Chapter Scholarship Committee. Scholarships will be awarded based on the proven record of leadership excellence, community involvement, financial need and application quality.
Your scholarship application becomes complete and valid when you submit all of the following materials as specified to Tuscaloosa Chapter of Credit Unions:
• Scholarship application form
• Statement of interest
• Proof of active credit union membership
• Official high school or college transcript
