Frequently Asked Questions
How does EarlyPay work?
EarlyPay gives you access to your funds up to two business days early for eligible direct deposits.
If we receive information from your payor, typically your employer, that your deposit is on the way, we may provide you access to your funds up to two business days early.
Is there a fee for EarlyPay?
No, there is no fee for EarlyPay. It's included as one of the perks when you set up eligible direct deposits.
When will I know when I'm paid?
You can set up an alert to notify you when you receive a direct deposit. Use our convenient online banking tools or mobile alerts to help you manage your account and know your balances.
How early will my eligible direct deposit be available to me?
It depends. The day and time we make funds available will depend on when we receive information about your deposit from your employer or other payor, which can vary from deposit to deposit.
Will funds from my direct deposit always arrive early?
No. Early availability of your direct deposit is not guaranteed and may vary between pay periods, depending on when your payor (typically your employer) tells us it is on the way.
To help prevent incurring an Overdraft fee, please monitor your account closely to verify the funds from your direct deposit are available for your use.
*With EarlyPay, Alabama ONE may credit up to two business days early for regular-occurring direct deposits before the funds are received from the payor, which is typically your employer. EarlyPay is not guaranteed, may vary between pay periods, and we may stop providing it at any time without advance notice to you. Our ability to provide early access to funds may be limited by many factors, such as when we receive notice of payment from your payor. It is always your obligation to verify that the funds are available in your account before spending them. Not all direct deposits are eligible and are generally limited to direct deposits received such as your payroll, pension, and/or government benefit payments made through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. We do not guarantee early availability of direct deposits.
