meeting1

To ensure transparency and member involvement, annual membership meetings are held to provide progress reports, elect a board of directors and a supervisory committee, and conduct credit union business. The board of directors appoints committees to oversee operations, and all board and committee members serve as uncompensated volunteers, reflecting our dedication to cooperative principles.

In 2020, Alabama ONE welcomed Alabama Rural Electric Credit Union, organized in 1969 to serve the 23 Alabama Rural Electric Cooperatives, their employees, and members across Alabama. Together, Alabama ONE and ARECU, in both services offered and geographic presence, offer an unparalleled field of membership and opportunities to serve communities across Alabama.
